Ace Helpful in the Community!
Community Importance: Supporting the community that supports us is critically important and as a result we have a few specific venues we promote and support.
Jabo’s Ace Hardware is a supporter of the Children’s Miracle Network. Throughout the year, Jabo’s Ace Hardware supports CMN through various promotions such as our annual Holiday Raffle Ticket as well as our NEW register penny round up! All money raised stays local to benefit Children’s Health in Dallas and Cook’s Children in Fort Worth. In 2015, thanks to our customers and vendor support we raised a total of $50,000 for our local hospitals!
We also carve out a special fund to provide a platform for worthy causes to raise monetary contributions. If a party is interested, Jabo’s Ace Hardware will donate 150 hotdogs and buns, the use of our store grill and space in front of the store to grill. All donations collected from the cookout will be for the cause. Typically folks are willing to throw in a couple or more dollars to support a worthy cause and a good dog. We’ve had groups raise as much as $700 through this program. If you’re interested schedule it with our store manager. We require a three week notice and dates are booked based on availability.
Lastly we have and will continue to donate the use of certain pieces of our rental equipment (in those stores with an Ace Rental Department) for worthy causes. These are based on availability and require prior management approval.
